Hutchinson mn Wedding

Hutchinson is a city in McLeod County, Minnesota, along the South Fork of the Crow River. The population was 13,080 at the 2000 census. A 3M plant and Hutchinson Technology plant are the main base of employment. The town's agricultural roots, notably as the birthplace of the Geier Hitch, are fast becoming a dim memory. The retail and service economy has shifted from agricultural supply and processing to a combination of local manufacturing and use as a bedroom community by commuters to the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 20.3 km (7.8 mi). 19.2 km (7.4 mi) of it is land and 1.0 km (0.4 mi) of it (5.12%) is water. Major bodies of water include the Crow River which flows through the downtown, and Otter Lake. It is also the home of the number one ranked high school hockey team in the state.
